Vijay Kumar Dada is an Indian ophthalmologist[1][2][3] and a consultant at theSir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.[4][5] An alumnus and a former chief of theDr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences of theAll India Institute of Medical Sciences,[6] he has written several articles on eye diseases such ascataract andglaucoma.[7][8][9] Dada, an elected fellow of theNational Academy of Medical Sciences,[10] was honored by theGovernment of India, in 2002, with the fourth highestIndian civilian award ofPadma Shri.[11]
