RTX Video Super Resolution (RTX VSR) is avideo scaling feature byNvidia. It was released on February 28, 2023.[1][2]
The feature was first unveiled duringCES 2023 as RTX Video Super Resolution.[3] It uses the on-boardTensor Cores to upscale browser video content in real time.[4] Video Super Resolution was initially only available onRTX 30 and40 series GPUs, while support for20 series GPUs was added afterwards; it is now available on allNvidia RTX-branded GPUs.[5] The feature supports input resolutions from360p to1440p and a max output of4K and comes without support forHDR content although that could be likely added in the future.[6][7]
