Victor Webster (born February 7, 1973)^[3] is a Canadian actor.^[4] He is known for being the second actor to playNicholas Alamain on theNBC daytime soapDays of Our Lives^[5] from 1999 to 2000, and for his roles as themutant Brennan Mulwray inMutant X,Coop thecupid onCharmed and detective Carlos Fonnegra inContinuum.^[6][7]

He is also known for his portrayal ofMathayus of Akkad / The Scorpion King inThe Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption (2012) andThe Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power (2015).^[8]

Webster is the son of Roswitha, a hair stylist, and John ("Jack") Webster, a police officer.^[5][9] As a teenager, his behaviour often got him into trouble.^[5] To find a more productive outlet, he started studyingmartial arts and eventually became a teacher of this,^[5] earning an undefeated record as an amateurkickboxer and heavyweightblack belt. Meanwhile, his early interest in acting was demonstrated in his involvement with numerous school plays andtheatre classes.^{[citation needed]}

Webster worked as astockbroker and in import/export.^[5] He appeared inCosmopolitan magazine's "All About Men" 1998 special issue. He began to pursue acting opportunities in the late 1990s. In 1999 he landed a part on theNBC daytime soap opera,Days of Our Lives. After leavingDays, he was cast as one of the leads in the nationally syndicatedSF-action seriesMutant X (2001),^[10] which ran for three seasons. In 2002, he was listed as one ofPeople magazine's "50 Most Eligible Bachelors".

Webster appeared in the filmBringing Down the House and made guest appearances on other TV shows, including a 2003 role onHBO'sSex and the City, while working onMutant X. SinceMutant X, Webster has continued to alternate between television and theatrical film roles. In 2006 he appeared in the final episodes ofCharmed, portrayingCoop, acupid who marriedPhoebe Halliwell (played byAlyssa Milano) in the final episode of the series.

In 2009, Webster had a recurring role as Caleb Brewer on theMelrose Place relaunch. He appeared on theseason 5 episode "Parasite" ofCriminal Minds playing acon artist-turned-serial killer. He also guest-starred in the 2009 murder mysteryHarper's Island. He had a small role in the 2010 Tyler Perry filmWhy Did I Get Married Too. In 2011, he had a recurring role onCastle as Kate Beckett's boyfriend, Josh Davidson. In the 2013 remake ofEmbrace of the Vampire, he played the lead male vampire Stefan. OnGirlfriends' Guide to Divorce, he played Carl, agigolo. In the 2016 Hallmark original movieSummer Villa, he's a chef.^[11] In 2019, Webster began starring in theHallmark Movies & Mysteries seriesThe Matchmaker Mysteries. In 2023, Webster starred as David in Hallmark’sMystery on Mistletoe Lane, and in 2024, started playing Chad Norton inHannah Swensen Mysteries.

Webster got engaged to actressShantel VanSanten on February 9, 2021.^[12] They married in October 2021.^[13] In January 2023, Webster filed for divorce after less than two years of marriage.^[14] The divorce was finalized on July 2, 2024.^[2]
