Vicki Lee Taylor (born 10 August 1984)[1] is an English theatre & television actress and television presenter.

Vicki Lee Taylor was born inGrimsby,Lincolnshire,[2][better source needed] and at the age of twelve appeared in the leading role of Emma inListen to the Wind (King's Head Theatre,London)[3] and recorded the cast album at theAbbey Road Studios.[3] This secured her a national tour ofEnid Blyton’sThe Famous Five, playing tomboyGeorge.[3]

Her first notable television appearance was the role of Dino in the seriesThe Queen's Nose. Whilst studying for herGCSE exams she also appeared in the lead role of Little Meg in both popular series ofBig Meg, Little Meg[4][5] and as the guest lead Deborah for several episodes ofHeartbeat.[6]

She also appeared as the co-presenter onSooty (ITV) from 2001 to 2004, recording three series.[7]

In addition to acting, Taylor has won awards for singing and dancing (including a guest appearance on the BBC SeriesStar for a Night)[citation needed]. She has appeared in numerouspantomimes, includingSnow White (Cardiff)[8] andDick Whittington (Leamington Spa)[citation needed] and most recently asCinderella (High Wycombe).[9][10] In 2008, she was inThe Witches of Eastwick UK Tour with Marti Pellow.[11]In 2013 she played the role of Maggie Winslow in the West End revival ofA Chorus Line at theLondon Palladium.[12][13]She followed this by appearing as Daisy Gamble at theUnion Theatre, London, inOn a Clear Day You Can See Forever.[14][15]
