Vic & Anthony's is an Americansteakhouse restaurant chain with locations inDowntown Houston, and inside theGolden Nugget Casinos inLas Vegas,Atlantic City andLake Charles.[1][2] Vic & Anthony's is owned and operated byLandry's, Inc.[3]
In the early 2000s, Landry's, Inc. founder, president and CEOTilman J. Fertitta travelled across the country with his father Vic Fertitta, visiting steakhouses with the intention of opening a new one in Houston.[4][5] In 2002, Fertitta opened Vic & Anthony's in Downtown Houston, across the street fromDaikin Park, the home ofMajor League Baseball'sHouston Astros.[6]
The AAA listing for the restaurant describes its atmosphere as "upscale".[7]Dress code isbusiness ordressy casual.[8] All four locations are open for dinner, and the New York location is open for lunch Monday through Friday.[9] The Houston location is only open for lunch on Fridays, when Executive Concept Chef Carlos Rodriguez features a range of burgers.[10] TheHouston Rockets’ guardJames Harden frequents the restaurants after home games.[11]
