At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 1,817 in 429 households, when it was inKhorramabad County.[9] The following census in 2011 counted 1,988 people in 535 households,[10] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment ofDowreh County.[3][c] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 2,087 people in 619 households.[2]
