Veronica austriaca, thebroadleaf speedwell,[1]large speedwell,[2]Austrian speedwell, orsaw-leaved speedwell, is aspecies offlowering plant in the plantainfamily Plantaginaceae,native to northerntemperate Europe. Growing to 90 cm (35 in) tall by 60 cm (24 in) broad, it is a mound-formingherbaceousperennial, with deeply toothed leaves and erect spikes of bright blue flowers throughout summer.[3]
