Verneuil d'Avre et d'Iton (French pronunciation:[vɛʁnœjdavʁeditɔ̃], literallyVerneuil ofAvre and ofIton) is acommune in thedepartment ofEure, northernFrance. The municipality was established on 1 January 2017 by merger of the former communes ofVerneuil-sur-Avre (the seat) andFrancheville.[3]Verneuil-sur-Avre station has rail connections to Argentan, Paris and Granville. Verneuil d'Avre is twinned withStowmarket, in the English county ofSuffolk.
