Kupittaa Football Stadium (Finnish:Kupittaan jalkapallostadion;Swedish:Kuppis fotbollsstadion), officiallyVeritas Stadion for sponsorship reasons since 2003, is afootballstadium inTurku,Finland. It is situated in the district ofKupittaa, in an area dedicated tosporting venues. The stadium serves as the home venue for theVeikkausliiga sideFC Inter Turku, andYkkösliiga sideTurun Palloseura.
The stadium underwent an expansion in 2009, when a stand with 1,644 seats was built to meet the demands for theUEFA Women's Euro 2009.The stadium has a capacity of 9,372 spectators, with 8,072 seats and 1,300 standing places.
There are two stands opposite to each other. The old Olympic stand (Olympiakatsomo) was built for the1952 Summer Olympics and the new, modern main stand was built in 2003.
The old Kupittaa Stadium's record attendance was approximately 15,000 spectators for the1987–88 UEFA Cup match betweenTurun Palloseura andInter Milan. The stadium's attendance record since the 2003 renovation is 9125 spectators, set at a match betweenInter Turku andKuopion Palloseura in 2019.
The natural grass field was replaced to artificial turf surface in early 2023.
