TheVelika Remeta Monastery (Serbian:Манастир Велика Ремета,romanized: Manastir Velika Remeta) is aSerbian Orthodoxmonastery located in the village ofVelika Remeta on the mountainFruška Gora in northernSerbia. It is one of severalmonasteries of Fruška Gora. Traditionally, its founding is linked to KingStefan Dragutin.[1] The earliest historical records about the monastery date to 1562. It was declaredMonument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and it is protected by theRepublic of Serbia.[2]
