Vegachí (Spanish pronunciation:[beɣaˈtʃi]) is a town andmunicipality in theColombiandepartment ofAntioquia. Part of the subregion ofNortheastern Antioquia, it lies at an altitude of 980 m (3,220 ft) above sea level.
Vegachí has atropical monsoon climate (Köppen:Am)[1] with warm temperatures and frequent rainfall. Vegachí has a longwet season from March to November, and a drier period from December to February.
