Vatteville-la-Rue (French pronunciation:[vatvillaʁy]) is acommune in theSeine-Maritimedepartment in theNormandy region in northernFrance.
A village offorestry andfarming situated in a meander of the riverSeine in thePays de Caux, some 22 miles (35 km) west ofRouen on the D65 and D40. The area is popular for the hunting ofboar anddeer. There is also considerablesand andgravel extraction at the large quarries.
