Valery Vladimirovich Rozov (December 26, 1964 – November 11, 2017) was a RussianBASE jumper, who became known for jumping from the world's highest summits.[2] He currently holds the record for highest BASE jump in the world.
Rozov died on November 11, 2017, while jumping from a height of 6,812 metres (22,349 ft) offAma Dablam mountain inNepal. According to members of his group, Rozov crashed into the side of the mountain.[9] He was 52 years old.
