Vaishali Thakkar[1] is an Indiantheatre andtelevision actress. She portrayed the comic role of Praveena in theStar Plus TV seriesBaa Bahoo Aur Baby, the supporting role of Damini in theColors TV TV seriesUttaran and Kusum in theStar Plus television seriesSaath Nibhaana Saathiya 2.[2]

Vaishali Thakkar was born inMumbai. Her father worked inGujarati theatre, and she first appeared in Gujarati plays. She had a role in the TV seriesEk Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, and then inBaa Bahoo Aur Baby where she played Praveena. She subsequently appeared as Damini Ragendra Bharti in theColors TV series,Uttaran.[3]

Thakkar is fluent inEnglish,Hindi, andGujarati.[citation needed]
