VVVVID (pronouncedvid) is an Italianvideo on demand service and avirtual community, with an offering that includes internationalmovies,anime,series,music videos, andshort thematic videos.[1][2] VVVVID's service isfree of charge and available exclusively in Italy on theWeb and via dedicatedapps foriPad and forAndroidsmartphones andtablets. In December 2014, for the first time in Italy, VVVVID hasstreamed the Italiandubbed version of the Japaneseanimated seriesTokyo Ghoul, without any previousairing ontraditional TV,[3][4] followed in July 2015 withTokyo Ghoul √A, in January 2016 byOne-Punch Man andPrison School, and in October 2016 byTokyo Ghoul's 2 OVA andAll Out!!, in December 2016 byParasyte andDeath Parade, in June 2017 byThe Dragon Dentist, in July 2017 byDrifters and the last 6 episodes ofHellsing Ultimate, in October 2017 byFate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works and the second season ofAttack on Titan. In May 2018,Kill La Kill premiered on the platform, followed byMy Hero Academia in August 2018. January 2020 saw the Italian-dubbed premiere ofDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. In winter of the same year, they streamMagia Record.

As of 23 July 2024, the platform is not listed on search engines anymore and is allegedly in maintenance. Fears have been expressed by users and past collaborators that this could be a prelude to a definitive closure.[5]
