TheVammelsuu–Taipale line (Finnish:VT-linja;Swedish:VT-linjen;Russian:Карельский вал) was aFinnish defensive line on theKarelian Isthmus built in 1942–1944 during theContinuation War and running fromVammelsuu on the northern shore of theGulf of Finland throughKuuterselkä andKivennapa and alongTaipaleenjoki toTaipale on the western shore ofLake Ladoga.
