V. S. Vijay is an Indian politician and was a member of the14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly fromVellore constituency. He represented theAll India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party.[1]
Vijay holds anorthopaedics degree[citation needed] and was the Minister for Health in theGovernment of Tamil Nadu.[2] He had defeated the former MLA,C. Gnanasekaran, who held the Vellore constituency for about 20 years by Charan Kumar.[citation needed]
Theelections of 2016 resulted in his constituency being won byP. Karthikeyan.[3]
