Víctor Tomás González (born 15 February 1985) is a Spanish retiredhandball player.[1][2] He was included in theEuropean Handball Federation Hall of Fame in 2023.[3]
He played forFC Barcelona his whole career and was the captain of the team. Over the course of his 16 year senior career he won a total of 69 titles, includingSpanish champion 12 times, and won theEHF Champions League 3 times. He had to retire at the end of the season of 2019/20 due to a heart condition.[4] His shirt number 8 is hanging at FC Barcelona's home arenaPalau Blaugrana.[5][6]
