Víctor García León (born 1976) is a Spanish filmmaker.

Biography

Born inMadrid in 1976,[1][2] he is the son of film directorJosé Luis García Sánchez and singerRosa León [es].[3] He made his directorial debut in a feature film with the 2001 teen dramaNo Pain, No Gain, which earned him a nomination to theGoya Award for Best New Director.[4] The latter was followed byGo Away from Me (2006),Selfie [ca] (2017),The Europeans (2020),[4] and¡Vaya vacaciones! (2023).[5]He has also worked in television series such as the Juan Carrasco television saga (Vota Juan,Vamos Juan, andVenga Juan),The Neighbor, andLos hombres de Paco.[4][6]
