Hi, ThecentreCZ. I'm very glad to hear that I'm your favorite wikipedist, its always nice when other people appreciate your work... As for DPRK, what can I say except -its my opinion. Others may or may not agree with it, whatever they wish. Anyway, many of my political views are considered as, lets say, "unusual" by other people. I'm not bothered with it at all. I know there will always be people who will agree with me, as well as those who will disagree. Cheers! --Sundostund (talk)13:30, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ThecentreCZ. I've been watchingThe Walking Dead (TV series) article and have noticed thatyou keep trying to add "Virginia" to the infobox. The "Location(s)" parameter forTemplate:Infobox television is production-specific and refers to the "production location, i.e. where the show is/was shot." The parameter is not for the location where the story takes place. This is why your edits keep getting reverted byDrovethrughosts. You need to show that there is a reliable source which clearly states that the series has been or will be shot in Virginia. If you find such a source, just (1) add it in support of the "Virginia" to the infobox,OR (2) add a sentence (or two) citing the source toThe Walking Dead (TV series)#Development. If you're not sure how to phrase this additional information, justbe bold and add it to the article. Other editors will see the source and clean up the phrasing as needed.
Finally, for what it's worth, sometimes the meanings of template parameters can be a little confusing. I personally try to check a template's documentation page before adding any parameters just to be sure I'm using them right. Hope that helps. -Marchjuly (talk)00:57, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please watch the tone of youredit summaries. Edit summaries such asthis are contrived personal attacks. You haven't much experience as an editor as yet, so I'll put it down to your needing to get a grasp on the learning curve. If, however, you continue to add your personal, acerbic commentary as edit summaries in lieu of informative andcivil summaries, it will not bode well for you. Hi. TheWikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/IrelandWikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much likeWikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country likeWikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk)21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added toCategory:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found atWP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact thebot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them atWikipedia talk:Non-free content.RonBot (talk)17:25, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Does not meet notability criteria. Most mentions are in passing, or of other persons named Václav Vacek.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. Thanks for creatingDemocratic Party of Greens.
User:Rosguill while reveiwing this page as a part of ourpage curation process had the following comments:
Right now, this article's subject is on the borderline for notability. Source #1 is an interview with a party member, and thus is insufficiently independent for establishing notability. I've started discussion onthe reliable sources noticeboard to determine if source #2 is reliable, and I'd encourage you to participate. If #2 is reliable, then I think it's likely that the subject is notable perWP:NEXIST, although more sources should still be provided to further concretely establish that the subject meetsWP:GNG.

The fileFile:Flag of the Justice and Development Party (Turkey).svg has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
A non-free file of the party's flag is not needed perWP:NFCC#1,WP:NFCC#3a andWP:NFCC#8 because it basically provides the same encyclopedic information to the reader asFile:Justice and Development Party (Turkey) logo.svg. A non-free image of the party's logo used in the main infobox seems fine for primary identification purposes; so, taking that same logo and adding it to an all-white background just to show the flag is not needed. A non-free image doesn't need to be seen perWP:FREER for the reader to understand that the party's flag is its logo added to an all-white flag.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. In particular, thespeedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, andfiles for discussion allows discussion to reachconsensus for deletion. --Marchjuly (talk)21:03, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I wrote it at Commons, but I also wanted to write it here: Can you design the emblem/logo of theJustice Party (Turkey, 1961-81) and upload it to Commons or Turkish Wikipedia, taking into account the flag inthis photo? -Aybeg (talk)08:00, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Directly from Wikipedia's policy on non-free logos: "It is believed that the use of low-resolution images on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, of logos for certain uses involving identification and critical commentary may qualify as fair use under the Copyright law of the United States." I did not make up that non-free logos should be low res you are simply just ignorant on the topic.
The logo that I believe is more suitable for the article is the logo featured multiple times in images on the front page of the SPD's website, the logo used on the SPD's official Facebook page and twitter profile, it is the logo used on posters and billboards and finally used at party events. Your version has less use and so I see no reason for why you are so opposed to the updating of the logo.Ec1801011 (talk)17:05, 16 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Vector files are low-resolution too. There is no specific main logo as defined in graphics manual of visual identity or something similar. This logo is mostly used and vectored. You should stop arguing with experienced users and doing non-sensical uploads here. --ThecentreCZ (talk)23:10, 17 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up atthe contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

You currently appear to be engaged in anedit war according to the reverts you have made onCzech Pirate Party; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected tocollaborate with others, to avoid editingdisruptively, and totry to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required byWikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Thanks for uploadingFile:Castaldo March.ogg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim offair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails thefirst non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may haveno free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You currently appear to be engaged in anedit war according to the reverts you have made onProtectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected tocollaborate with others, to avoid editingdisruptively, and totry to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.[reply]
Points to note:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article'stalk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at anappropriate noticeboard or seekdispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate torequest temporary page protection. The articleConrado Benítez has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. Please do not remove{{lang}} language tagging or{{start date and age}} microformats from articles. If you take a look atMOS:LANG andWP:μF, you can see the rationale, but those templates are there to make it easier for assistive technologies and for software to extract or highlight dates from articles (as well as showing how long ago a party's foundation was).

Hi. Please stop adding uncited material to articles, as you did withthis edit to List of suicides. Since you've accumulated over 8,800 edits here since 2013, you should know by now that Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied byreliable, verifiable (usuallysecondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of aninline citation, as describedhere. You've already been warned about this several times on this talk page. Please add the required citations going forward.Nightscream (talk)00:11, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see that you're going through various Wikipedia articles just to change the name Czechia to Czech Republic. Czechia is a perfectly valid name for the country (and an official one). Please stop changing the name and censoring the name Czechia everywhere on Wikipedia just because you personally don't like that name.Wikipedia:If it ain't broke, don't fix it
Here are some examples of the edits I'm talking about:
Please also seeWikipedia:Mass_editing#Disputes, specifically:
Depending on the number of articles to be edited and the degree to which the edit changes those articles, it may be advisable (or even required) to obtain consensus before beginning to undertake a series of mass edits. It should be assumed that mass editing will always have at least some disrupting character, and that consequently the benefits should outweigh the disruption.

| I thank you very much for being the source where I copied all of the templates to start creating an actual user page. This has not only helped me work on my user page, but also has helped me learn more about editing as whole, which will likely be useful in the not so distant future ;)Troopersho (talk)10:42, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply] |
Hi, I was just wondering if you would be willing to make a .svg emblem of theCarpathian German Party like how you did the nice .svg emblem for theSudeten German Party.
I think it would be easy for you, since they are so similar and you made the SdP one. Would be much appreciated!

Can you justify your last steps instead of edit warring? You violatedWP:3RR, you don't respect consensus between other users and instead of using the edit summary to summarize and justify the editing, you use it for insults in a language other than English. You've already had a number of incidents, so you should know what the rules are and what may follow.FromCzech (talk)20:04, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:
I would like to request unblock of me because as I am informed, the block was raised to the strictest variant. I would like to acknowledge my mistake of inproper citations, especially that I did considered List of banned political parties and also other instances of lists asStand-alone list, because I didn't take in consideration that there is also column which contains ideologies and year of occurance and I did not given proper citation in my first edits. I then reverted the edit more than once which let to the editor to report it as an incident there. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to properly repond to the most of the instances discussed and apologize again in the Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, because I was blocked for a period of month on the same day that the incidents were raised, on 15 March 2024, and I couldn't respond anymore. Factically it was somehow connected to the instance of incident of other blocked user, who probably used his account for singe-issue editing, but he also did other benefitial contributions to Wikipedia so I just presented my concerns there. In the case of disruptive editing and and insults, I would like to say that I will no longer edit contentious topics and use such language I used. I would like to apologize for about 3 vulgar words in the last 5 years I used, which could have been rightfully taken as insults and about 8 edit disputes, where I wrongly accused someone of something they have not ment. I agree that vulgar-insulting words are unacceptable and it was proper reason for blocking. It was very bad of me, but as of my editing I many times got into situation that people removed sourced information and it is not always easy to keep cool thinking and distuinguish proper and inproper editing, as I did many sourced corrections in about 10,000 edits I've made. In the matter of what I will be participating in the future, as I created about 80 articles in the past on English Wikipedia, I will continue to create only sourced articles with proper information and I will not participate in any disputes and in disagreements in such disproportionate language I did in the past. There was a strong consensus to indefinitely block you just two months ago. As such this can be considered a community-imposed block, and would therefore need to be reviewed by the community, but for now I am somply declining it as it seems much too soon. Hi, I see that you removed all the percentages (and width parameter) for all the composition bars in infobox of European political parties and alliances. I was wondering what led you to do this and whether you were basing this on a consensus that had been stated somewhere. I personally find these percentages very useful and do not really see a downside to using them, so I would really support re-instating them, but I would be happy to hear your thoughts first.Julius Schwarz (talk)07:43, 7 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
