{{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply clickhere to start it.There's a slight delay sinceDrew Fortier is currently a redirect, but I've filed a request to delete the redirect to free up that space to publish your draft.
That said, since I can't publish directly I can't addWP:Categories to it, soafter it publishes, please add them.
Donot add massive categories like "Music" or "United States", categories should be as narrow as possible, so like "American heavy metal guitarists" and whatnot. If you're not sure, take a look at a related artist who appears to have a decent page, and just copy-paste what they use and then modify them to be applicable to your guy.MatthewVanitas (talk)02:12, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
MatthewVanitas, Thank you so much for your help on this page. I will certainly add correct and narrow categories to the page. This is officially my first published page as an editor. Thank you again.Thatguy1987 (talk)17:51, 13 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploadingFile:Flipp Brynn Arens.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim offair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails thefirst non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may haveno free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking onthis link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per thenon-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you. --Marchjuly (talk)12:58, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added toCategory:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found atWP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact thebot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them atWikipedia talk:Non-free content.RonBot (talk)17:10, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The fileFile:Douglas Esper, Chuck Mosley, and Drew Fortier.png has beenproposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may bedeleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing{{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop theproposed deletion process, but otherdeletion processes exist. Hi there! Thanks so much for reviewing myDraft:Black Sea Dahu attribution. Unfortunately, it has been rejected again. It took me a lot of time and effort to make the page. And I do not understand fully what I am doing wrong. It seems something that was not correct even after all my additions to the new draft, but what is the culprit. Can you help me out here, please? Much obliged. In the mean time, between my drafts, a German equivalent has been made by someone, even using info from my page and my photo, and that has been accepted. [[1]] if I take them as an example, I see I have used the same sources, only I am using more. Is some of the extra info the reason that it is not yet in order? If that is the case, what should be deleted, please?Again thanks so much for your help. I am really willing to adapt whatever needs to be adapted, if only I would know where to look, that would help so much, thanks a lot.MokumKeez (talk)04:04, 03 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Rik L Rik is referenced on many other pages, it is essential that he be given his own page. I wrote everything that is known about him and many authorities, music critics, etc have said so. I have shown them all the material I wrote and they are not agreeing that he should not have his own Wiki Entry. Makes no sense, you have countless entries about people far lesser known in the music business and here is someone that is considered of the very first Los Angels punk rock bands, a historical consideration. At the very least, you should let the entry I wrote be public until more changes can be made to your satisfaction. I have seen hundreds of other entries say they need to be updated, why can't we do that here?Salcanzonieri (talk)22:40, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if this is the way to communicate with you about your declining my submission on the musician Richard Mortonhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Richard_Morton_(musician) so apologies if I'm doing it wrong but I asked you for feedback on the comment explaining why it was declined and you haven't responded.
I said: So this comedian who won a Time Out comedy award and is referenced in numerous books, including by the hugely renowned comedian Jo Brand, and you are saying that means he's not significant enough?Almost all the other winners of the Time Out comedy award (which was a significant award) have a listing. His music partner Reg Meuross who has no citations, has a listing. He had years of routines at the Edinburgh Festival, marked out by reviewers. His videos posted by fans are on YouTube. He is one of the founders of one of the most famous comedy clubs during the 'Alternative Comedy' boom of the 80s in the UK, has had huge runs on British quiz shows on both TV and radio, has two albums which were positively reviewed and continues to tour to this day. What more does he have to do to prove he is 'significant' enough for Wikipedia?I'd genuinely appreciate your advice because I've been trying to get this page live for nearly a year.
I realise I have not cited the book by comedian Jo Brand - Can't stand up for sitting down - where she references her tour with Richard, his stint in the TV show Our Friends in the North and one of his famous songs My Daddy Was A Sperm Bank.If I add these citations will this make him significant?
She says: I toured for a while with Richard Morton, who was always great to be with. Richard is such a lovable guy so helpful, friendly and sweet natured. He almost makes me feel guilty for existing. He’s a Geordie, but an atypical one given that he is small and slim and unmacho. He was unerringly cheerful when we toured and believe you me unerringly cheerful isn’t the default position of most comedians. Richard did stand up and comedy songs and can be spotted in the background in a club in that wonderful series, Our Friends in the North. He also happens to have the same name as an opera singer and was booked to do a gig at the Sherman Theatre near Cardiff once. However the audience were expecting the opera singer and when Richard kicked off with My daddy was a sperm bank, he came on my account, almost the entire audience got up and left.
He has a section amounting to more than 20 pages in the book Ha Bloody Ha about the comedians on the Alternative Comedy scene of the 80s. I would posit this is more than a 'passing reference'.
This is my first submission to Wikipedia so if you can explain how I get this decision reconsidered, I'd be very grateful.Thanks.MsContent (talk)11:04, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
