You asked a question about how to create an article. Your best place to do it is here:Wikipedia:Drafts#Creating_and_editing_drafts. Put your article name in there, and click on the create a draft. That will create a draft article which will be reviewed by an established editor to see if its worth inclusion in Wikipedia. When your selecting your article subject, make sure its somebody worthy. When your start adding references,WP:SECONDARY is the gold standard. If the person is alive, read theWP:BLP policy. Don't use social media references, linkedin, facebook, youtube or imdb in your references. Don't copy anything from the web, use your own words and don't use any self-published sources. Over one edit, I probably wouldn't worry about protecting the page. If the user, or someone else, comes by to vandalize it in the future, it's easy enough for me or another admin to escalate their warning and/or ban them.
