I have taggedFile:HotChip-OneLifeStand.jpg as{{no rationale}}, because it does not provide afair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable forfair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with thefair use rationale guideline, onthe image description page. Some examples can be found atWikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using{{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed atWikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you.Seraphim♥17:07, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. As your talk page was very long, I'vearchived it for you, which you can do too if you like. The archive can be found here:/Archive 1. If you would like it put back the way it was, I'll happily change it back for you. I noticed you added an image to theOne Life Stand article. Whilst your contribution is valued, there is a process we use that needs to be followed each time we upload a copyrighted image (like album or single covers). An image description that follows this system should look like this:File:Made in the dark.jpg. You can continue uploading copyrighted images but you will need to adhere to the following process:
You're already adding the source where you got the image and the licensing tag so it's really only the size of the image and the fair use rationale that are problematic. Image policies on wikipedia can be very confusing. If you would like any assistance, I will be happy to assist you or suggest places where you can receive assistance from someone else, if you prefer. If you would like to ask me anything please leave a message on mytalk page. Season's Greetings to you! :)Seraphim♥20:29, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Spin Boy 11! Thank you for your contributions. I am abot alerting you that2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Thebiographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensureverifiability, all biographies should be based onreliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current158 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the{{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you toreview other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing atwo-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are notautoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to onlya small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located atSpecial:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obviousvandalism orBLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (seeWikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be foundhere.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.Courcelles (talk)17:56, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for uploadingFile:TheBees-EveryStepsAYes.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set ofimage copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag fromthis list, click onthis link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message onWikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk)13:05, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the{{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or onthe article's talk page.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to readthe guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using theArticle Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed onOn the Moon requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under thecriteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Pleasesee the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visitthe page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent withWikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contactone of these administrators to request that the administratoruserfy the page or email a copy to you.serioushat06:54, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I noticed your editshere. You might want to take a look atWP:OVERLINK to get a sense for what should and shouldn't be wikilinked. In your edit above, you added wikilinks for months and years, which isn't helpful. I also noticed your additions of genre toSanjay and Craig andhere. Firstly, gross-out humor isn't a television genre. Secondly, any time you add a genre to an infobox, it should be clear from the context of the article, by sourced information, why that genre was added. We shouldn't be propagating the infoboxes with our personal interpretations of television/musical style. I also know thatWikiProject Music is finicky about avoiding microgenre in articles, so you might want to double-check that the genres you are adding are suitable for the project and that they are supported by sourced content in the article. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line.Cyphoidbomb (talk)20:15, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing toFile:GetToHeaven.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used undernon-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go tothe file description page, and edit it to include anon-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described oncriteria for speedy deletion. Thanks for uploading or contributing toFile:BillyDilleytitlecard.jpg.
Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described insection F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make arequest for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you for uploadingFile:BillyDilleytitlecard.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so thecopyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing theimage description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make arequest for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to theimage use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is alist of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you.AussieLegend (✉)08:24, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created,Glass Brother, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations fromreliable, independent sources.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is ofcentral importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft todraftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Hi, this is really late, but I've been wanting to ask you about your edits to theSpongeBob SquarePants article from last week - it's nice to see some new improvements to that page! I spent a lot of time a few years ago, correcting sections of the article that were improperly referenced, so I just wanted to double-check on your additions. I'm seeing where the "Oral History of SpongeBob SquarePants" source mentions storyboards being created on Post-it notes, but I did a "control +F" search for the term "storyboard" and didn't see anything in that source about storyboards being created digitally. I also didn't see anything about digital storyboards in the Brookshier interview, nor am I seeing anything in either source that could serve as the basis for the sentence, "Once the rough board is approved, a team of storyboard artists are brought in to clean up the director's drawings and enhance certain expressions and gags for the design and layout stage.".
Do you remember which sections of the sources you based those statements on? Again, sorry that I wasn't able to ask about this sooner (it's been a crazy week). --Jpcase (talk)14:10, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The inclusion of early 1980s features - such as the 1981 Top of the Pops theme tune - disprove your 'late 1970s' theory. There is also the Prince of Wales award scheme (1980s) and the hint of the discovery of a new disease (the early 1980s = AIDS). Please provide reliable citations before making edits.

Thank you for uploadingFile:LemonJellyEPs.png.
This file is aderivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the file description page states the source and copyright status of the derivative work, it only names the creator of the original work without specifying the status of their copyright over the work.
Wikipedia takescopyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine thelicense and thesource of the original image. If you know this information, then you can add acopyright tag to theimage description page.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created inyour upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at themedia copyright questions page. If the file is already gone, you can still make arequest for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. Thanks again for your cooperation. — Ирука1303:25, 2 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploadingFile:Trains To Brazil-Guillemots2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required byWikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available fromWikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as animage copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance withsection F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at themedia copyright questions page. Thank you.
