Hi. Can you offer your opinion on which photo is more appropriate for the Infobox in theScott Allie article inthis discussion? You don't need to know anything about Allie; I'm contacting you because you've worked on matters pertaining to photography. I tried contacting lots of editors who work on comics-related articles, but every time I do so, we wind up with the sentiments split down the middle, and no clear consensus. I'm thinking perhaps that people who work on matters dealing with photography might be able to offer viewpoints that yield a consensus. Thank you.Nightscream (talk)15:39, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Shanmugamp7. You tagged "User:Rarunyonze" for speedy deletion, but you did not notify the article's creator that it had been so tagged. There is strong consensus that the creators of articles tagged for speedy deletion should be warned and that the person placing the tag has that responsibility. All of the major speedy deletion templates contain a pre-formatted warning for this purpose—just copy and paste to the creator's talk page. Thank you.Alexius08 (talk)06:08, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You said that you reverted one of my edits to the page Samuel Slater..... Because it wasn't constructive, and you did this from India? Well Haji,I Live in Pawtucket,Rhode Island, and work as a curator at the Slater Mill Historical Site. True history is what it is, and you have no business as a revisionist simply to be polite. You need to mind your own place.— Precedingunsigned comment added byWikiPawtucket (talk •contribs)13:44, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am the Museums Curator, and have been for 12 years. I don't need you to fact check what is common knowledge here especially when your Wikipedia page can't even get the location or picture of his grave right. If you continue to obstruct historical fact, I will be forced to demand that the Wikipedia page is removed on behalf of the Slater Family Trust.WikiPawtucket (talk)15:28, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am the foremost authority on the subject, and have been for many years, which is why I have been entrusted with the Mill for the last 12 years. The Wikipedia article is not only historically inaccurate, it also completely white washes historical fact. It makes no mention of the Slater Family slave holdings, no mention of the children that were sired by the Slater patriarch, and no mention of the "Indian Wars" that were fought with the indigenous peoples in order to acquire the land for "Slatersville" it also shows a grave marker belonging to s 3rd generation Slater and presents it as one belonging to Samuel. In an attempt to correct the page, I have been stifled, and because of this, I must demand that the page is either restored to historically accurate or it be removed. I make these statements on behalf of the Slater Family Trust as their authorised agent.WikiPawtucket (talk)16:38, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
What I have told you is NOT original research, it's factual information from the Slater Mill Historic Society, and is on full display at the museum. In addition, I have photographs that I have been trying to upload of the actual grave site of Samuel Slater, his wife, and several of his offspring located here in Pawtucket which adds in discrediting the person who uploaded the original falsehood. For you to refer to the Slater Family Trust and the Slater Historic Society as "Original Research" is irresponsible and as factually correct as this caricature of Sam Slater that you portray on this page.
WikiPawtucket (talk)17:38, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In addition, the others who speak of Samuel Slater in your Talk section all seem to agree.... This page is not an accurate depiction of Samuel Slater and it's ironic that you would question credibility while publishing such dribble.WikiPawtucket (talk)17:41, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
