October 2025 GAN Backlog Drive
On 1 October 2025, a one-month backlog drive for good article nomination reviews will begin in hopes of addressing the growing backlog and to reduce old nominations. Barnstars will be awarded based on the number, length, and age of nominations reviewed. Each article review will earn 1 point; for each 90 days an article has been in the backlog, an additional half-point is awarded; one extra point will be awarded for every 2500 total reviewed words. Hello,

Currently closing the discussion on creating that section. It existshere, and I've modified the navigation bar to reflect this. For what it's worth, the close itself was good. You just didn't have the technical ability to follow through with it. Everyone needs to start somewhere, and I certainly made a lot of mistakes as a newbie. You have a good grasp of consensus and our conduct policies, and I've noticed that your comments at ANI are always well-written and thought out. I have reverted that. It's a common mistake among ITN newcomers, but nominations are placed in the section for the date they happened (i.e. the death date for RDs), not the nomination date. Hope this helps.QuicoleJR (talk)18:26, 22 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. By the way, the contributions link in your signature does not work correctly, as URL-based links do not use the pipe symbol, instead only using a space. I'd recommend replacing the link with[[Special:Contributions\CREditzWiki|things i apparently did], since it uses the internal linking system, but if you prefer to use a URL link, the correct way would be[https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/CREditzWiki things i apparently did] without the pipe.
