This site does not appear to meetWP:RS. There are some documents that are out of copyright and should be linked to Gutenberg or Wikisource, not to this site; there are also essays that qualify as primary self-published sources. In every case we should be using reliable independent secondary sources instead. This is to inform you that an attempt is being made to overturn an RfC that you voted on (2 RfCs, actually, one less than six months ago and another a year ago). The new RfC is at:
Specifically, it asks that "religion = none" be allowed in the infobox.
The first RfC that this new RfC is trying to overturn is:
The result of that RfC was "unambiguously in favour ofomitting the parameter altogether for 'none' " and despite the RfC title, additionally found that "There's no obvious reason why this would not apply to historical or fictional characters, institutions etc.", and that nonreligions listed in the religion entry should be removed when found "in any article".
The second RfC that this new RfC is trying to overturn is:
The result of that RfC was that the "in all Wikipedia articles, without exception, nonreligions should not be listed in the Religion= parameter of the infobox.".
Note: I am informing everyone who commented on the above RfCs, whether they supported or opposed the final consensus. --Guy Macon (talk)03:35, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just a puzzled observation, regardingthis edit: While it's understandable that you were duped by the deceptive bluelink in the entry for the Shannon McKelden novel, due to not looking closely, the fact that the link to the Seattle band was red was hard to overlook. I can't find any evidence that there was ever an article for the band, so there is no obvious explanation for your mistake. (Moreover, the disambiguator "(U.S. band)" is against MOS, and should be "(US band)", or rather, "(American band)".) I have now removed both. --Florian Blaschke (talk)16:57, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed onCategory:Caucuses of the United States Congress by term requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not adisambiguation category, acategory redirect, afeatured topics category, under discussion atCategories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you maycontest the nomination byvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Thank you for uploadingFile:Hubert Blaine Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required byWikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available fromWikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as animage copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance withsection F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at themedia copyright questions page. Thank you.Josh Milburn (talk)16:14, 3 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
