The article does not demonstrate anylasting significance and thus fails a number of policies and guidelines so the notability tag should remain.Mtking (edits)04:29, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Prburley. I have nominated this article by you for use in the DYK section on MainPage. You can see the nomination and the reviewers' commentshere. If you are interested in getting this article of yours showcased on MainPage, please respond to the reviewers' concern regarding the lack of footnotes. I don't have the references, so I can't fix things up myself. Thanks. --PFHLai (talk)03:34, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, off the back of that, I wonder if I might ask you a favour. I've created a number of article in the last few months on comparatively obscure Japanese topics (e.g.Chikaraishi,Ogasawara ryu,Kamizumo,Inuoumonoand others). I'm somewhat hampered by my lack of ability to read Japanese sources, though, so I'm limited to what I can find in English - which often isn't much. Since you're clearly more than capable of finding and using Japanese sources, I wonder if you might like to take a look at my backlog and help fill some of them out? I can't promise much by way of a reward - there's a beer in it for you if you're ever passing throughBristol, though.Yunshui 雲水17:56, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please see yourDYK nomination; the page is worded rather awkwardly, and I'm not excited about promoting a page that isn't in good English. However, these fixes shouldn't be too hard (I'd do it myself, but I don't have time), and the page will be ready to go once the wording is improved.Nyttend (talk)21:52, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. There is a question about the content of theNitta clan article on theWP Reference Desk: Humanities page. It concerns an unsourced edit to the article which appears to have been made by you on 12 September, if I'm reading the Edit History correctly (I'm not very good at the technical stuff I'm afraid). Perhaps you would like to follow the link above and add your thoughts? Thanks and regards,Alansplodge (talk)17:39, 19 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the merge, the Portuguese languages articles have been merged too. There's no secret on doing a good merge, be sure to add every valid material that the page being merged contains but the other page doesn't, and erase what's repeated.Victão LopesFala!15:38, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately I ran into problems with this, and I was a bit upset that several of the Nigerians walked out. Got nowhere after 6 weeks. I want everybody to support this and not think I'm trying to compete with their own contests or anything. Instead I think an Africa Destubathon, a general Africa one targeting stubs from all African ones might be the best place to start. Then once we have more support and trust, we can move forward to regional ones. But something which helps blast away the stubs will be a good thing I think.♦Dr. Blofeld06:35, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Prburley, I just wanted to let you know that I haveadded the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload onnew page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, seeWikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing!TonyBallioni (talk)02:13, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your recent articles, includingWerner Haberkorn, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in theDid You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list atT:TDYK. I am still rather new as an editor. I have been working on the History of Pernambuco article for a while now (a month?) I see you are the person who has posted on that Article talk page, who also seems to have something going on on his or her talk page, at least recently. I only recently began to realize that user pages and user talk pages existed. So today, I thought I would post on the pages of people who had previously posted on the History of Pernambuco talk page. So...I'm not certain if this sort of communication is desirable, common, or useful, but here it is. Anyway, following the Be Bold encouragement I have just jumped in and started editing. I did make a couple of posts on the History of Pernambuco talk page, thinking that someone in the Brazil project would sometime see it and communicate. However, it appears to me that the article has lost interest.P2dwight (talk)20:32, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you foryour contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text frompt:Barroco no Brasil toBaroque in Brazil. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere,Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in anedit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation andlinking it to the source page. For example:Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted{{translated page}} template on the talk pages of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, pleaseadd attribution retrospectively for that also, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it atWikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.DanCherek (talk)03:31, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
