Hey! Just wanted to let you know that I took the content you added forDuke Blue Devils men's basketball under the current season and created a new article with it:2007-08 Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team. This follows typical wikipedia guidelines and will prevent the generic basketball article from getting too long. Thanks for your contributions to that page and help me expand the new one! Cheers,Bluedog423Talk03:12, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the{{prod}} template to the articleBMW Car Club of America, suggesting that it be deleted according to theproposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see alsoWikipedia:What Wikipedia is not andWikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues atits talk page. If you remove the{{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent toWikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.BJBot (talk)17:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Mustang, you may have noticed that your submissions have been reverted and revised many times in the aviation articles in which you have made contributions. Most of the edit revisions have revolved around your use of dates. The conventional dating systems are [day-month-year] or [month-day-year] (known as the popular style) while ISO dating is also used (year-month-date) written in numerical form. Wikiproject:Aviation group has a style guide that is followed for the project and after a great deal of discussion, a consensus was reached that would provide the easiest format for all users. Since foreign readers were unsure of the actual date when an ISO standard was provided, e.g. does 2007-4-11 mean April 11, 2007 or November 4, 2007? and since the formal style, [day-month-year] was unambigious and accepted worldwide, a decision was made to adopt this style and further use the wikilink system to identify the date convention for those users in Wikipedia who have date preferences set for their browsers. The final form was17 March2008 which then allowed the browser settings to show the dates in whatever form the user wanted. Please contact me for more information if needed. A good guide to the use of dates is in reviewing an article such asF-117 Nighthawk in edit mode and seeing how dates are expressed, then it's simply a matter of first looking at an article that is developed by editors in the WikiProject:Aviation group and using that format. FWIW, again a welcome!Bzuk (talk)12:02, 17 March 2008 (UTC).[reply]

Thanks for uploadingImage:Bmwcca logo.gif. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia'scriteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Thank you for uploadingFile:JHFC logo outlines.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required byWikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have anexplanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as animage copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with ourcriteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at themedia copyright questions page. Thank you. A tag has been placed onHail to the Buff and Blue requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatantcopyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source ofinformation, but not as a source ofsentences. This part is crucial:say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then youmust verify that externally by one of the processes explained atWikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, seeWikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look atWikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a questionhere.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding{{hangon}} tothe top ofthe page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note onthe talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged forspeedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.Eeekster (talk)03:46, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Mustang dvs! Thank you for your contributions. I am abot alerting you that1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Thebiographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensureverifiability, all biographies should be based onreliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current126 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the{{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Hello, Mustang dvs. It has been over six months since you last edited theArticles for Creation submission orDraft page you started, "Alexander E. Thalmann".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopediamainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simplyedit the submission and remove the{{db-afc}},{{db-draft}}, or{{db-g13}} code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions atthis link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
