Thanks for uploading or contributing toImage:Haggard.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used underfair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go tothe image description page and edit it to include afair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described oncriteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page.STBotI (talk)12:32, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploadingImage:Haggard.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim offair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails ourfirst non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}},without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking onthis link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before13 July2006), per ournon-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Thank you.J Milburn (talk)21:09, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominatedAna Sayfa, an article you created, fordeletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why atWikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ana Sayfa. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Hello everyone! I was just working on responding to a couple bug reports for a script that I worked up as part of a request from this project, and I noticed that only a couple people (who weren't even on this mailing list) are actually using the script. A little history on the script: In March of 2014,Jim Cartar came to my user talk page and said heneeded some help in acquiring a script for a backlog drive that he was working on that could keep track of and score deOrphanings for a scored backlog drive. I took that request to the project's talk page (BackLog Drive "DO" (De-Orphaning) script proposal) and there was near unanimous support for this. I thought about the proposal and decided the best way to do it was to build a new script (which is still no where near as comprehensive asManishearth'sOrphanTabs) and build into it a mechanism that will make BLD scoring easy.
What I'm wondering at this point is, since there appears to be only two people using the script, should I continue to develop this script with a goal of using it for scoring BLDs or just debug the existing script and leave it at that. Thanks for any replies or comments.
If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself fromthe mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of allmassmessage mailings, you may addCategory:Opted-out of message delivery to your user talk page.

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirectAna Sayfa. Since you had some involvement with theAna Sayfa redirect, you might want to participate inthe redirect discussion if you have not already done so.Steel1943 (talk)14:57, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I was wondering if you'd be interested in setting upWikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Turkey), based onWikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge andWikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). Now it's not a contest in itself, it's designed to motivate people to inspire others to improve content and build something which demonstrates the hard work going into the country which is visible. The focus is more on quality improvements but new articles are welcome too. Eventually a Turkish National Contest could be created to fuel it, likeWikipedia:Awaken the Dragon, in which contestants can choose to keep the Amazon vouchers themselves to buy their own books for more articles or put them into book fund to help editors further improve Turkish-related topics by giving them the books they want. It will begin though as purely an improvement drive. If interested, or you think anybody else might be interested, alert them and sign up on theWikipedia talk:WikiProject Turkey talk page at the bottom. Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk)14:12, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. TheWikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/IrelandWikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge andWikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much likeWikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the currentWikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa.05:22, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
