Hi again Luis. A brief note about the notices above this message. If you're taking from the Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships, that's totally fine as it's public domain. However, you might want to mark those pages by puttingTemplate:DANFS near the bottom of the page.Howicus(Did I mess up?)01:14, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
User:Howicus, the only information i use is from the External Links i use, i don't even know where to find the DANFS
Regards,--Luis Santos24 (talk)01:16, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
User:Howicus,I'm not lying, i truly got that remarkably identical info from another external link i listed on the "Humpin Hass" (Hassayampa) Honest, it wasn't my intent to stir up any copyright issues.--Luis Santos24 (talk)01:27, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think we edit conflicted; you were creating the AfD while I was tagging the page for speedy deletion. Unless the creator can demonstrate thatShoichi dbz created character isn't just something he made up, I'll be speedy deleting it within the next 15 minutes. Thus, the AfD really isn't necessary. —C.Fred (talk)03:07, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hey,User:C.Fred. I was considering putting a tag for speedy deletion but i already layed down the tag hammer and nominated for deletion, i think in my humble opinion 15 minutes is not enough, especially at this late hour. I ask for more time although i agree with you, i simply want to be fair, i say 24 hours, a day is enough, not a mere 15 minutes. I already took numerous measures in the first place, so we should just wait a day for the author he or she to fix his situation, after 24 hours have it your way no questions asked. Have a good day.
Cheers,--Luis Santos24 (talk)03:15, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User:Samtar,Even though i am only a Level 4 Novice Editor, i am a very active and enthusiastic Wikipedian, i have over 1,770 edits and have written 21 Articles. All naval. I am a member of Wikiproject Ships, Military History Wikiproject, and the Wikipedia World War II Task Force. Feel free to check out my articles. I do mostly military and naval articles. Wikipedia is, no doubt, very big, but some ships still need their story known! Every ship has a unique story! And that's what i dedicate myself to. I covered alot in the Wikipedia Adventure, the Adoption School for User:Howicus didn't work out for me, some of the stuff it asked me to do was very hard with the constantly growing number of Recent Changes patrollers.Look at it and you will have a feel of what didn't really work well for me.

As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members ofWikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.

That is my affiliation with a roleplaying group I ran before my enlistment. I am active duty army stationed atFort Lee,Virginia and would appreciate it if you watched how you are talking to me. I attended basic training atFort Benning,Georgia with C Company, 2nd Battalion,54th Infantry Regiment. I can be emailed at <redacted> or called at <redacted> if you need any credentials or documents/pictures to back this up. I do not appreciate your attitude, and if you look at my profile, I have created 41 naval articles on Wikipedia. I am simply trying to continue my former hobby.
I have been inactive on Wikipedia mostly to having been away in the Army. I will not post any identifying information on an open Wikipedia thread and encourage you to contact me via email or via telephone.
Yes,Berean Hunter(talk). I am in the "Real" U.S. Army.
I created the Naval Corps in January 2012, and was in charge of it while being a NavalJROTC Cadet, a member of theYoung Marines, aCivil Air Patrol Cadet/Senior Member (ID Number 616045), and a Soldier in theVirginia Defense Force (ID Number 1900802) prior to my enlistment in the U.S. Army Infantry. If you investigated enough, you could discover that too. Please think twice before questioning a legitimate member of the DoD. It puts a stain on the professionalism that is expected of us as Editors. I am autoconfirmed and have created over 40 articles. I am a member of theU.S. Naval Institute and a Plankowner of theNational Museum of the Surface Navy. I currently study Military History atAmerican Military University. I do not mean to be rude, but any real soldier/sailor/airman/coast guardsman/marine would be offended at being questioned for their "authenticity".

Userspace pages are not allowed to be filed in mainspace categories alongside real articles, perWP:USERNOCAT, and the page isn't sacrosanct just because it's yours. Especially if, as you claim, you're not really around that much, we donot have a responsibility to leave it in categorieswaiting for you to remove it from categories of your own accord — if the page is in categories, then it has to come out of categoriesnow, not "maybe someday", which means it can be immediately removed from categories by any editor who finds it without anybody needing to wait for your permission.Bearcat (talk)17:39, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
