I have addressed your comments regarding thefeatured list nomination of97th Academy Awards. I was hoping that my support of your list would bring attention back to my nomination.
Oh my gosh, that's really awesome!! Thanks for letting me know :) my first mention directly. Though a few days ago, an article I created got a mention[2] (assassination of abdullah I).jolielover♥talk12:07, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting! If you want, you can add stuff like this in "places" like
The fourth round of the 2025 WikiCup ended on 29 August. The penultimate round saw three contestants score more than 800 points:
BeanieFan11 (submissions) with 1,175 round points, mainly from sports-related articles, including 17 good articles, 27 did you know articles, and 9in the news articles
AirshipJungleman29 (submissions) with 854 round points, mostly from a high-scoring featured article on the Indian leaderRani of Jhansi and two good articles, in addition to 13 featured and good article reviews
Everyone who competed in Round 4 will advance to Round 5 unless they have withdrawn. This table shows all competitors who have received tournament points so far, while the full scores for Round 4 can be seenhere. During this round, contestants have claimed 9 featured articles, 12featured lists, 98 good articles, 9good topic articles, more than 150 reviews, nearly 100 did you know articles, and 18 in the news articles.
In advance of the fifth and final round, the judges would like to thank every contestant for their hard work. As a reminder, any content promoted after 29 August but before the start of Round 5 can be claimed in Round 5. In addition, note that Round 5 will end on 31 October at 23:59 UTC. Awards at the end of Round 5 will be distributed based on who has the most tournament points over all five rounds, and special awards will be distributed based on high performance in particular areas of content creation (e.g., most featured articles in a single round).
Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it onWikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, feel free to review one of the nominations listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed. Questions are welcome onWikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges –Cwmhiraeth (talk·contribs),Epicgenius (talk·contribs),Frostly (talk·contribs),Guerillero (talk·contribs) andLee Vilenski (talk·contribs) – are reachable on their talk pages. Good luck!
Wdym? Large, uncited paragraphs or overreliance on primary sources are not appropriate; seeWP:PRIMARY.
3:A primary source may be used on Wikipedia only to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge. The paragraphs removed can't be verified easily.
5:Do not base an entire article on primary sources, andbe cautious about basing large passages on them.
And uncited content (like the Etmology subheading) can be challenged and removed.
And again, like I said before, you should just save it in your sandbox if you don't want other editors to help. Once it's published, I see it on the NPP, and try to improve it. I added the maintenance tags, yes, but intended to work on it (see the edit you reverted). There are issues with grammar, spelling, and tone. Also some issues with the legal issues subheading - no legal issues (currently described anyway) and possibly negative, exceptional claims will need stronger sourcing. Again, if you just don't want any of this to be addressed since you're planning to do something about it, don't move it to mainspace.jolielover♥talk08:46, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! i see you recently reviewed a subject article i made on wikipedia. while scrolling through instagram i saw a post from famous Remix DJ/Producer Opolopo from Sweden on Instagram in apost which says that B Major Mastered / Engineered opolopos latest Remix which drops in this month. I went to checkout B Major IG page and saw that another notable Billboard charting music producer mentioned him in a latest post where it shows him in a studio setting video alongside well know. South african Idols Top 5 contestant Zee Dyasi. It looks like he is co-producing and recording her album with the Billboard charting music producer Mothers Favorite Child.
I wanted to know is this worth a mention on his wikipedia or is it possible to quote it on his wikipedia? What blows my mind is this guy has only 600 followers and is working with all these notable people from all over the world!?LordOfTheReverts (talk)07:34, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, it is definitely worth a mention, however, typicallyreliable, secondary sources are preferred for articles. Aprimary source isn't ideal, but as long as it doesn't make an exceptional claim or says something hard to verify, it should be fine. Please note that if the post doesn't explicitly state he's producing the album, and just hints at it, it's best to steer clear and wait for an offical announcement, since this isoriginal research. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia!jolielover♥talk09:12, 6 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I was just wondering why you mentioned Larry Sanger twice in the discussion on AN about the imprisoned editor,Hossein Ronaghi. I don't see any connection between the two subjects at all. Can you clue me in on why you referred to Sanger here? Thank you.LizRead!Talk!22:45, 30 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sanger released hisnine theses recently. Thesis 6 calls for administrators & check users to have their identities revealed as he believes that the "most powerful" users should not have the guise of anonymity when making decisions that could bring harm. I pointed out thatrevealing identities can be harmful due to at least five people being imprisoned for the work they did editing. Hearing about a new case of an administrator being imprisoned for bringing awareness to issues in his country made me think of the thesis, and how harmful it really is. I live in the Middle East and the guise of anonymity is what makes me feel moderately safe to continue editing. I mean, there's also the thing that I don't believe admins should face real world consequences for editing here - and they're not responsible for "damaging reputations", since I really can't think of an incident where an admin genuinely did such a thing - but that's my view.jolielover♥talk01:53, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This award is given in recognition to Jolielover for accumulating at least 50 points the September 2025 NPP backlog drive. Your contributions played a part in the 19,000+ articles reviewed during the drive. Aftera motion, arbitration enforcement page protections no longer need to be logged in the AELOG. A bot now automatically posts protections atWP:AELOG/P. To facilitate this bot, protection summaries must include a link to the relevant CT page (e.g.[[WP:CT/BLP]]), and you will receive talk page reminders if you forget to specify the contentious topic but otherwise indicate it is an AE action.
Is there anything that can be done about Joy on Tesla page? He's been attacking Sadko who has started the discussion. He is in clear minority with his opinion. Two longsanding editors have edited the article, and he went so far to go to Wiki guidelines page and edit guidelines there so he can have his POV in the article.
Ok, I'm an IP so attacking me is ok, but even without me, it's not ok to attack Sadko, to change Wiki guidelines...etc. Now he deleted whole bunch of text from multiple IPs.
I don't want to go edit warring since he's an admin and he's in clear minoriy with or without my posts , I'd like to have a formal closure in that discussion. Is that possible?
Hi there, if this is a content dispute, please go toWP:Dispute resolution orWP:3O. I don't know the details of this case so I can't really provide insight, sorry. I reverted the edit request because attacking others and causingWP:ASPERSIONS is not acceptable. Please do not accuse others of racism.jolielover♥talk17:28, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not the person who you have reverted. I'm one of the IP in the discussion, one of 3 other IPs. User Joy has just deleted multiple posts. It is a content dispute, but Joy is atacking everyone who disagrees with him. He's deleting posts, and he went to WIki guideline page and change content there which was goding against his opinion78.3.66.142 (talk)17:36, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I’m sorry if this is unexpected and crass, but I was looking up Ranboo’s page and I saw it was deleted. I then found out you were the first one behind the deletion, and I want to say that even though it was a truthful decision, it was still wrong of you, in my honest, kindest opinion.
There were a lot of people who worked on this article and now their work is gone. I hope you understand, wholeheartedly.
Hi there! Truth was, I didn't consider myself in a good headspace to respond to a GA review when I removed that, and have decided that I should wait longer to nominate articles for GA. I don't believe it is GA ready yet - I want to make sure all information is accurate. Thanks anyway!jolielover♥talk03:07, 16 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You really thought you could get away withthis andthat, huh? Quit harassing me when I'm feeling down. Stop making me feel fucked up. Leave me alone and stop pinging me.PEPSI697 (💬) (📝)06:20, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What? Look, I didn't know you were down. I was going through my talk page archives and saw they were incomplete, and added back ones that weren't obvious vandalism/ones I replied to. I'm not miserable about you deleting comments, I just wanted the archives to not be missing out on important and relevant comments. What you did was also technically a violation ofWP:TPO. Regardless of what I felt at the time, now I feel like all comments on my talk page - the good, the bad, and the ugly - should stay (other than obvious vandalism/harassment).jolielover♥talk07:13, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello I'm a student from LUISS university in Rome and I'm working on a presentation based on wikipedia's crowdsourcing process and one part of the work is to put myself in the shoes of a wikipedia contributor and find out some feeling he receives when editing or writing pages. The questions I would like to receive answers on are the following:
1 What does the editor think and feel:
2 What does the editor say and do:
3 What does the editor hear and see:
4 What are is pains:
5 What are is gains (what does make him feel good when contributing):
