Dear @Iwaqarhashmi
I appreciate your rapid and professional review.
Your comment made me understand more about the grading scheme and encouraged me to contribute more.
I'm not a well-trained Wikipedian. I wrote this article because I worked on Mt. Jade for years and loved this place. Every time I stay in Paiyun Lodge, I think that "this is the most famous and popular alpine lodge in Taiwan. Every year, thousands of mountaineers who want to climb the main peak of Yushan (Mt. Jade) will come here to live and get some support. Why is no Wikipedia article written in English."
Hence, I tried to prepare and submit the article.
This is just the beginning. I'll keep writing and improving the article.

Review process of Draft:Tianchi Lodge and suggestions (Translate Wikipedia content, Retroactive attribution, Dummy edit)

[edit]

Information icon Thank you foryour contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text fromTianchi Lodge to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere,Wikipedia's licensingrequires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in anedit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation andlinking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is givenhere. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attributionmust be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using adummy edit; seeRepairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted{{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you mustadd attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it atWikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.MCE89 (talk)14:46, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @MCE89
I appreciate your professional and useful information on the translate Wikipedia content.
I've added a dummy edit to describe the attribution retroactively (as shown below).
NOTE: Content in the edit of 12:16, 22 November 2025 was translated from the existing Chinese Wikipedia article at [[:zh:天池山莊]]; see its history for attribution.
Now I know how to provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article, especially for translate Wikipedia content.
In the discussion, I've also learned some topics:
1. template{{Unattributed translation}}
2. Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution.
Thank you very much!Hsienching (talk)04:15, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @MCE89
I appreciate your rapid and professional review.
I wrote and translate this article because many hikers told me the story about Tianchi Lodge for many years. However, there is no Wikipedia article about Tianchi Lodge. And some information searched from Google or other search engine are incorrect. Hence, I decided to write the Wikipedia article about Tianchi Lodge.
I hope this Wikipedia article could bring the hikers some basic information and historical story about Tianchi Lodge.
Thanks for your approval.
I'll keep writing and improving the article.Hsienching (talk)04:16, 24 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @Passengerpigeon
I appreciate your rapid, professional review, and approval.
While I doing some research on thezh:九九山莊 and modifying the Wikipedia page, I start to consider to write an English version of the page. So, we have the English Wikipedia page of Jiujiu Cabins.
I hope this Wikipedia page could bring the hikers some basic information and historical story about Jiujiu Cabins in Taiwan.
I'll keep writing and improving the article.Hsienching
