Hello, ITN query

Hello, I know you don't normally do ITN but Spencer's onholiday, BorgQueen isdrunk and Tone is nowhere to be seen at present so I'm virtually on my own. I was wondering would you think this appropriate? Thanks.Venezuelan beauty queenDayana Mendoza has a fun day at camp inGuantanamo Bay.[1] --candlewicke20:50, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Are any of them at present? Anyway thanks, Nedrag. --candlewicke21:05, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, it did provoke thePresident of Venezuela into retracting praise he had previously given her if you believe Wikipedia itself. That said, Wikipedia is of course"fake". But it's entirely irrelevant now – time to restore our battered Fox-beaten reputation. --candlewicke17:57, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Name change vs. WikiCup

Hey, just a quick question. I've been considering a name change, would that be workable in terms of the bot scoring for the Cup?Useight (talk)23:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Wow. Major embarrassment.

Hey mate. Guess what we both did this week? Interviewed members of WikiProject China. I'm an idiot. I totally forgot that I recommended the project to you. My interview ishere. Maybe we should try to merge them together or simply present two interviews on the same page? Let me know what you think. --Cryptic C62 ·Talk18:55, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

I just merged my interview onto your workspace page. I think it actually looks pretty damn cool! Maybe we can do an intentional "double interview" sometime in the future... --Cryptic C62 ·Talk18:56, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

The start of Round 2 has been in some respects an explosive one, with one user in particular almost in the triple figures after just a week. There are obviously contestants with no points or very few, but as it is so early in the round this can probably be excused. Keep it up everyone!

Note that due to unforeseen circumstances, Mitchazenia has been eliminated from the contest. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Good idea. The FA people are really anal and would take a long time out of us on just one article. I've already shaped WITC these past 2 years before I signed up to Wiki.

I tell you what, you do one of your ridiculously thorough track-by-track analysis in "Lyrics and composition" and I'll do "Critical reception" and "Sales and charts" and plenty of copyediting (obviously). Then we can sort out "Writing and recording". How does that sound?Rafablu88 (talk)00:06, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

block

I see you are having a bit of fun. What was the point?--WillC10:39, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I've seen alot of admins block themselves or friends just for fun or boredom. The first time I saw it done was for a user being drunk. The dude blocked him for about 1 millionth of a second, not sure if that is accurate. I just remember seeing alot of 0s. Question: Why was the wikicup page moved to Wikipedia:WikiCup? It was a subpage and I've been meaning to ask why it isn't anymore. Was there a big discussion about it becoming an official wikipedia thing or something along those lines?--WillC10:49, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Me neither, unless I'm caught, then I am drinking LOL. I'm 17 so I still have a few years and was raised with the Christian thought so I'm not sure. What about you? Okay, I was just wondering and never asked. I remember seeing all the pages moved since for some reason I watchlist every page I go to and then I forget to unwatchlist it after I see it on my watchlist. Good thing though or I wouldn't still be apart of it. I remember seeing my submission page get moved with the rest of the first round elimination pages and the newsletter said I was still apart of it as well as the main page. So I guess it helps in the long run, plus I've got to help other editors who have trouble nominating some things they are trying to get points for. Good to know there was a discussion. I thought it was just decided for it to become a mainstay and that was it. I don't remember seeing anything talked about so good to know there was.--WillC11:02, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

'But I don’t want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can’t help that,' said the Cat. 'We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.'
'How do you know I’m mad?' said Alice.
'You must be,” said the Cat. 'or you wouldn’t have come here.'”

Rollback Status plus ACC membership

Thank you for granting me rollback status. I have already begun using it to fight vandalism much more effectively. Also, I am trying to become more involved in Wikipedia, and have therefore applied for an account at the Account Creation Interface. I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider approving my account, as I noticed under the user list that you are one of the admins. Also, thank you for removing the personal attacks against me,
