I went to look at your perms because I watch your talk page and was definitely going to grant your request, but the permission hasn't been removed from you. Given that it's only supposed to be given to people who haven't edited and you have, I'm a bit confused about what's going on. However, it does read like you are quoting something. Do you happen to remember what sources you used? If so, it would be great if you could add them. It's the older of the two. I hadn't noticed the DNB as there are no citations. I don't think inclusion in DNB alone would do that, don't we need multiple RS? @Boynamedsue: For an old DNB article, there is always material in theOxford Dictionary of National Biography. As is typical, if not universal, for Fothergill there is an ODNB article, athttps://doi.org/10.1093/ref:odnb/9975. This has more substantial referencing. It's the sort of case where further research would normally flesh out the details. I am **not asking to resubmit it**, but would appreciate it if the deleted draft could be restored to a **user subpage** (e.g.User:SuryaDevanE/SuryaDevan) purely for private editing, learning, and potential neutral rewriting — ideally with future review or adoption by an uninvolved editor.
