Hi, I'm Helenabella. Bassammahdi, thanks for creatingAl-Meshkhab district!
I've just tagged the page, using ourpage curation tools, as having some issues to fix. If you could put in a bit of time copyediting for spelling/grammar/punctuation, and add some more references, it would really benefit.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment onmy talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers atthe Teahouse. Helenabella(Talk) 17:47, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you editedAl-Meshkhab district, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation pageDate. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles.Read theFAQ • Join us at theDPL WikiProject.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to readthe guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using theArticle Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed onAhmad Ibn Hashim Al-Ghurifi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under thecriteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more aboutwhat is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you maycontest the nomination byvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line withWikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi. TheWikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/IrelandWikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge andWikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much likeWikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the currentWikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa.01:18, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running itsMarch Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:

The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be foundhere for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

Hello, I have a small question about the articleVBCI 2, which you created. Under the "Protection" section, there is an incomplete sentence which didn't make sense, so I commented it out. I looked back in the edits and found that it has been phrased this way since the beginning. I was hoping you could clarify what was meant? I think the sentence is just missing a few words. Thank you!Jessicapierce (talk)19:33, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: theMilitary Historian of the Year and theMilitary History Newcomer of the Year. Nominations for both awards are open between 00:01 on 2 December 2017 and 23:59 on 15 December 2017. After this, a 14-day voting period will follow commencing at 00:01 on 16 December 2017.
