Hi there, to keep an article on wikipedia, we usually requires the article to minimally passgeneral notability guidelines. In simple terms, we like to have at least two independent sourced (not related to the article) and in depth coverage of the article/topic. The sources in the article are mostly passing mentions, a letter from the public (not allowed for most purposes except for some scenarios), etc. While there is no hard requirements on the number of such sources, some editors do require 3 such sources to pass the notability checks. I saw that you are working on141 Neil Road to GA so I decided to tell you that there'san upcoming event at the Baba House on 26 July you might be interested in. Thank you very much for your kind words, ZKang! I think I should be free that day, but I will still have to see as the date approaches. I also appreciate your help on Yusof Ishak and the better 141 Neil Road images; unfortunately it was closed the day I went so I could only get exterior shots from outside the gate. I'm also glad that Singapore's MRT community is quite active, and still manages to churn out quality articles every so often. Truthfully since some people hounded me about the use of ST sources forSengkang LRT line at the FAC, I'm probably taking an extended wikibreak in the meantime. And actually right now I say for the said "MRT community" it's me and Icepinner and sometimes S5A-0043. Still better than the one-man team when I started rewriting back in 2020. That said, I will still advice accordingly if you guys need help. Thanks for reaching out, @Aleain. The issue with the images is something that I'm also facing right now at Yusof Ishak's image review. The 1961 image of him with Abdul Razak Hussein is most likely copyrighted, at least in the United States. I put the {{PD-1996}} tag as I believed the image fit the requirements, but looking back now I'm not sure if that's the case. It's unclear if it fits the latter two criteria, specifically:it was first published before 1 March 1989 without copyright notice or before 1964 without copyright renewal or before the source country established copyright relations with the United States andit was in the public domain in its home country on the URAA date.

This is based on my limited knowledge of US copyright, but I'm not sure that when the image was published (if it even was published) it was without copyright notice. Ithink it's before Malaysia established copyright relations with the US in 1990, but some could argue that this image falls under Singapore copyright laws instead of Malaysia. This is the same for this:public domain in its home country, where it's unclear if this should be considered a Singapore or Malaysia image. Most likely, I'll need to consult someone who's more familiar with copyright laws, which is also why I would prefer removing the 1961 image for now until its copyright status can be confirmed. –actuall7 (talk |contrib)03:44, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
