what does it mean....how to publish it.

Stop removing the short description. It's the thing that starts with {{short description| or looks like a puzzle piece that says "Short description" after it.ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!16:37, 31 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@PrStato: Hi, you can try searchingWikimedia Commons to see if there are any useful photos. If not, you can try searching online through sites likeFlickr oriNaturalist, and finding using ones that havecompatible copyright licenses. Those can then be uploaded to Commons, and used on your article.
On a side note, please double check your references. I can't find the first paper online and the title, volume, date and page range for the second paper do not match on Springer, nor does it mention "Clivunellidae".ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!02:08, 1 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't logged in much at the moment so I can find a question to ask, but what prompted me to open an account on Wikipedia is that I have been using it to learn and understand world history. --Ezekiel Ochieng (talk)13:26, 16 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Pj599: Hi, when you add images into the |image= part of the infobox, you don't need to include the [[File:]] parts of it. Just Linshidong.png should be fine. However, please make sure the images you upload are released under a compatible copyright license, for example into the public domain or CC-BY. Please note that the vast majority of images on the internet are copyrighted, and not released under a compatible license, and so can not be uploaded to Wikipedia.ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!22:54, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
How do I verify who I am? I am Jabari’s mother. Latosha Roberson. I am requesting editing to this page as I’m unable to make the corrections by myself because of conflict of interest. However, Jabari is my youngest son.LaLaGemini (talk)06:41, 25 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@LaLaGemini: Hi, if you would like to request an edit to a page, you usually do not need to verify your identity. However, if there are concerns you are impersonating someone, please email info-en@wikimedia.org including your real name and username. Again, this is probably not necessary for most situations.
Hello, ARandomName123. Per your request, your account has beengrantedtemporary-account-viewer rights. You are now able to reveal the IP addresses of individuals usingtemporary accounts that are not visible to the general public. This is very sensitive information that isonly to be used to aid in anti-abuse workflows. Please take a moment to reviewWikipedia:Temporary account IP viewer for more information on this user right. It is important to remember:
Accessmust not be used for political control, to apply pressure on editors, or as a threat against another editor in a content dispute. There must be a valid reason to investigate a temporary user. Note that using multiple temporary accounts is not forbidden, so long as they are not used in violation of policies (for example, block or ban evasion).
It is also important to note that the following actions are logged for others to see:
When a user accepts the preference that enables or disables IP reveal for their account.
Revealing an IP address of a temporary account.
Listing the temporary accounts that are associated with one or moreIP addresses (using theCIDR notation format).
Remember, even if a user is violating policy, avoid revealing personal information if possible. Use temporary account usernames rather than disclosing IP addresses directly, or give information such as same network/not same network or similar. If you do not want the user right anymore then please ask me or another administrator and it will be removed for you. You may also voluntarily give up access at any time by visitingSpecial:Preferences. Happy editing!asilvering (talk)21:00, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! How are you? I saw your a student in Canada, I visited Toronto last year and let me tell you, it was FREEZING, Respect to you for getting used to the cold. Back to the topic, I came by an article which was denied, I researched about the individual and found some independent sources, he is a pharmacologist and my father was one too so it inspired work on his profile. I did what i could to make the article neutral, removed all the self published links, added independent sources and fixed the article. I have submitted it for review can you have a look?
@ARandomName123That's alright! No need for the apology - There was a confusion in between the two, I shared my documentation so all was sorted, I am currently working on a article, that was previously rejected, Theoharis, It said there were no prominent references, so I have been doing my homework and found 6-7 independent references.
Can you lemme know if its good to go now? If yes I can submit it for review.
@ScholarOfSources: Hi, I'm good, thanks!. As for the draft, yes, you submitted it properly. Please be patient with the review, there are a couple thousand in the backlog, but your draft will be reviewed at some point.ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!19:47, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Gufran Khan 19997: Hi, if by posting content you mean editing articles, you can write what is neutral in tone, and verified through reliable sources. To verify the content, you just check what the sources say.ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!22:03, 9 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Snathisiso ZA: Hi, to edit a page, just click on the "Edit" tab on the top right of the article. You can click "switch to the visual editor" when the pop-appears for a more easier way to edit. Please make sure your edit is neutral and supported by reliable sources if possible. See alsoHelp:Introduction.ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!15:56, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I can't access their catalogue due to some internet issues so could you check their catalogue for these books?
1) Arturo Alessandri: A Biography 2 Vol. (1977)
2) El APRA por dentro (1988)
3) El Paraguay Bajo Nacionalismo, 1935–1947
4) El APRA Busca del poder, 1930-1940
(This is technically piracy, but may I request a full scan of these books? All of the books here are very obscure and never see the light of day outside of a few university libraries. To add on, it's practically impossible to purchase most of these physically or digitally, excluding the first one.)
@Avocadopiu: Hi, yes the catalogue lists all these books. However, I can't scan all these books. There's probably a couple thousand pages worth of material across all those books, which I will need to scan by hand. Unfortunately, I don't have time for that. If you can isolate down the pages you need (ie. through GBooks/HathiTrust where possible) I can scan those excerpts. I could also scan the Table of Contents or Index if needed.
I'd like the table of contents for El Paraguay Bajo Nacionalismo as well, I've already placed an order forArturo Alessandri: A Biography.Avocadopiu (talk)05:55, 24 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Avocadopiu: Sounds good, will get that as well. Any pages you want fromEl APRA en busca del Poder? Also, please mark your request for El Mariscal Benavides Vol. 2 on RX as resolved if you've received my second emailARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!06:04, 24 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I just found out that the author ofEl APRA busca del Poder is not a historian, and literally took part in anAPRA revolt, so probably not the most reliable source...
@Avocadopiu: Unfortunately, I don't believe we have any of those. We have a couple books titled "Historia General del Perú", but I don't think they're the same as what you're looking for.ARandomName123 (talk)Ping me!02:39, 27 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, so I asked a question in the Talk section of the Advance Wars Wikipedia page on if I could add a mention of it's largest fangame that has grown in size and attention than the original games:
@Red-Halo9001: Hi, unfortunately not all Talk pages are monitored closely. If you don't receive a response, try posting at the article's project page, in this case,Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games. However, I noticed an editor did see your message (pinging @Soetermans), so maybe they'll respond if you ask/ping them, which I have done.
Hello ARandomName123, thank you for helping me getting introduced to editing in wikipedia! I soon want to start with my first edits and have chosen the following article:https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=B%C3%B6rse_Berlin&gesuggestededit=1I would appreciate your opinion on my choice as this is my first time making edits. I do have certain skills like controling information, knowing myself a lot about various topics and controlling english on level C1, I'm a native Dutch and Bulgarian speaker too. So what would you recomend me to start with? I like the science topics, history about WW2 and the cold war and things related to the Netherlands and Bulgaria. --Borrissimmus (talk)18:26, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Borrissimmus: Hi, if you're not familiar with how editing on Wikipedia works, I'd recommend taking a look atHelp:Introduction. I'd advise using the VisualEditor, which is easier to start with. Science, history, and country topics usually have aWikiProject associated with it, and they have tasks that you can do (for example, theMilitary History WikiProject has a list of taskshere). I would recommend starting with copyediting grammar, or addingreliable references to the end of sentences that don't have any.
