I have two lines of research that evaluatebiometrically-informed designs forpsychology and their application to understandinghealth inequity. In my substantive work, I focus on howindividual differences influence the relationship betweensocioeconomic status and health. In my methodological work, I focus on developing and improving biometrically-informed designs, such asbehavior genetic discordantkin models, and pedigree models. These designs strengthen our ability to makecausal inferences by leveraging environmental and genetic information, usually using publicly-available data.
