Hello, this is a message froman automated bot. A tag has been placed onTourism in Europe, byVegaswikian, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it bespeedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted becauseTourism in Europe is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please seeWikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deletingTourism in Europe, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions atWP:WMD.Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominateTourism in Europe itself. Feel free to leave a message on thebot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 200:14, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Too bad you deleted the news about the Queen Elisabeth Competition. You describe the item as not newsworthy because the agencies haven't covered it. The fact that the major international agencies haven't covered it is strangely true... Astonishing.
But who decides what's newsworthy on WP?Commercial news agencies? I think you're terribly wrong on this news item. The queen elisabeth competition is probably the most important classical music competition in the world, so winning it deserves a news item,at least in the music portal. A red link can simply be removed by removing the brackets.

Hi, this image was apparently hosted at theWikimedia Commons. It wasdeleted earlier today bycommons:User:EPO because of some copyright violation. I don't know what the problem was, I recall that this image was properly sourced and so forth. The easiest way to find out is to ask EPO about it. ˉˉanetode╦╩14:10, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploadingImage:Entertaining-mr-sloane-poster-1970.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions atWikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. A tag has been placed onTemplate:History Portal Featured Candidate requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes.
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 06:55, 9 February 2008 (UT

Please remember to mark your edits as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (seeHelp:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thanks for uploadingFile:Mark-twain-opens-kensalriselib-thumb.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set ofimage copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag fromthis list, click onthis link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message onWikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk)19:08, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using theArticle Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed onMelissa Cross requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done undersection G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguouscopyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy fromhttps://voicefoundation.org/events/world-voice-day/scream/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source ofinformation, but not as a source ofsentences. This part is crucial:say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violatorswill beblocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then youmust verify that externally by one of the processes explained atWikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, seeWikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look atWikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a questionhere.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you maycontest the nomination byvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line withWikipedia's policies and guidelines.eπ/💬01:18, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
