On a template page that transcludes itself in a usage example, the preview transcludes the last saved version, not the version being edited.

Sometimes I want tosubstitute a template or add asignature. These are not reflected in the editing area until after I have saved the page. If the substitution produces an unwanted result, I need to go in and correct the markup in another edit.

Like E2, Uncyc keeps its stubs in user space. A single author is expected to take a page from blank to Start-class, or at least edit it once a week to avoid astub prod.
