I'm Addy, a 21 year old Scottish Finance/Risk student living in Glasgow. If you ever visit the Cathouse or Classic Grand in that city, or use the forum Alternative Nation, you probably know who I am. I edit sporadically, but it is getting more regular and I do have at least some idea of what I'm doing. If you have any suggestions or comments for me however I'm very very interested in them. I believe inWikiLove, we should all spread it. If you would like to know anything about me, feel free to ask, within reason I'll probably be more than happy to tell you.

It's a weird one, eh? Well, Caissa is the Goddess of Chess - and I style myself as Her loyal DeathAngel. I believe I my username is unique - not easy in this day and age! A link to an English translation of the poem can be found on the Wikipedia page, which I hope to one day expand, maybe even to the point of FA-class! Wouldn't that be nice?
Why do I use it? Because when I play chess, I see it as more than just an emotionless board game, or even a sport. It's a war. It's not about two armies coexisting with each other, it's about one army coexisting better than the other (Graham Burgess said that). As the human player I am like a demi-god - I send my soldiers off into battle, they do as I command even if it means their own death for nothing or worse the detriment of their own side. I am untouchable, they do my bidding. It's almost...spiritual.
Hence, I am Caissa's DeathAngel - the Pawn Slayer. Online that normally doesn't fit, so I shorten it to Caissa usually, despite being male myself. You can refer to me in full, as CDA, or Addy if you wish. Most shorten it to Caissa's for some reason but that's just weird (albeit understandable).
