Update for 2018: Recently relocated to upstate New York, and have been very dormant on Wikipedia during that long drawn-out process. I'd like to get involved a bit again, as I figure out what my main interests here will be.
I am a long-time resident of Jefferson County, Colorado, near Morrison. I'm a plant ecologist/naturalist by early training, more recently historical researcher and writer. My particular interests here at Wikipedia are in the ecology and local history of the foothills of Jefferson County. I've been involved with many local history and natural history organizations.
