Urzicuța is acommune inDolj County,Oltenia,Romania with a population of 3,154 people. It is composed of two villages, Urzica Mare and Urzicuța.
The commune is located in the south-central part of the county, 17 km (11 mi) from the city ofBăilești, 20 km (12 mi) from the town ofSegarcea, and 50 km (31 mi) from the county seat,Craiova.
