Uroš Vitas (Serbian Cyrillic:Урош Витас; born 6 July 1992) is a Serbian professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back forRadnički Niš in theSerbian SuperLiga.
Vitas made his senior debut withRad in the2010–11 season. He was named as the team's captain in early 2013, aged 20.
In January 2014, Vitas was transferred to Belgian clubGent.[1] He made two appearances in the title-winning2014–15 season. In February 2016, Vitas switched to fellowBelgian First Division A clubMechelen.[2]
On 7 February 2019, Vitas signed with Kazakh teamIrtysh.[3]
On 11 February 2020, Vitas joined Serbian clubPartizan.[4] On 23 October 2020, Vitas joined Saudi clubAl-Qadsiah.[5] In September 2022, he signed forVojvodina.[6] On 30 July 2023, he joinedUAE Pro League clubEmirates.[7]
Vitas representedSerbia at the2011 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. He was also capped for Serbia atunder-21 level.
