Oorakam Mala is amount nearMalappuram,Kerala,India. It is in theOorakam village, bordering theNediyiruppu andKannamangalam villages. It is visible from theMalappuram-Parappanangadi state highway betweenVengara andPanakkad and is around 6 km to the peak of the mount from the highway. There is aJaintemple at the top of the mountain, which is around 2000 years old.^{[citation needed]}
