Upul Sanjeewa Galappaththi (born 7 February 1979) is aSri Lankan physician, politician andMember of Parliament.[1]
Galappaththi was born on 7 February 1979.[1] He was educated at Tissamaharama National School and Debarawewa National School.[2] He has a degree in medicine from theUniversity of Ruhuna.[2] He was the Hambantota District Co-ordinator for theGovernment Medical Officers Association and founder of the Hela Bodu Maga.[2]
Galappaththi contested the2020 parliamentary election as aSri Lanka People's Freedom Allianceelectoral alliance candidate inHambantota District and was elected to theParliament of Sri Lanka.[3][4][5]
