Unity and Renewal (Catalan:Unitat i Renovació, UiR) was a localpolitical party inCanillo,Andorra.
Although political parties were not legalised until 1993,[1] the party contested the1992 elections in theCanillo parish, winning three of the four seats.[2]
For the1997 elections, it was one of several local parties to ally with theLiberal Union to run in parish constituencies.[3] The UiR won two seats as the alliance won a total of 16 of the 28 seats in theGeneral Council,[4] and formed a government underMarc Forné Molné.
