Undecylic acid (systematically namedundecanoic acid) is acarboxylic acid withchemical formulaCH3(CH2)9COOH. It is often used as an antifungal agent, to treat ringworm and athlete's foot, for example.[1] Likedecanoic acid, it has a distinctive, unpleasant odor.
