UWN Primetime Live was a weeklyprofessional wrestlingpay-per-view (PPV) produced by theUnited Wrestling Network (UWN) and theNational Wrestling Alliance (NWA).[1]

History

On August 10, 2020, theUnited Wrestling Network (UWN) released a statement that they would partner with theNational Wrestling Alliance (NWA) to produceUWN Primetime Live, a new series that would be aired viapay-per-view (PPV) providers on a weekly basis fromLong Beach, California, atThunder Studios.[1] On September 15,UWN Primetime Live produced their first event, where theNWA World Heavyweight ChampionNick Aldis successfully defended the title againstMike Bennett in the main event.[2]

On the September 29 edition ofUWN Primetime Live,Trevor Murdoch defeated theNWA National ChampionAron Stevens to win the title, marking the first title change at aUWN Primetime Live event.[3] NWA aired thePrimetime Live events as a weekly web television program under theShockwave banner beginning on December 2, 2020.Shockwave aired on NWA'sYouTube channel, replacing the time slot previously held byNWA Powerrr, until the end of the NWA-UWN working relationship.
