USSJeremiah Denton (DDG-129) is anArleigh Burke-class (Flight III)Aegisguided missile destroyer of theUnited States Navy, the fourth Flight III variant.[1] She is named in honor of formerU.S. Senator for Alabama and retiredRear AdmiralJeremiah Denton, a Vietnam War veteran andprisoner of war who was a recipient of theNavy Cross.[5]
Huntington Ingalls Industries' Ingalls Shipbuilding division inPascagoula, Mississippi launched the USSJeremiah Denton on 25 March 2025.[6]
